The feature race of the week-long festival. The painting depicts the notoriously steep uphill climb to the finish line, with a fence still to jump. Painted in 2006, the eventual winner being no. 9 in the green and gold colours of JP McManus.

Cheltenham Cross Country

The Cheltenham Festival is the blue riband of steeplechasing. More than Forty Thousand Irish people travel to Cheltenham, England, for the week long festival. The painting depicts the famous cross country held over a variety of fences. The Original painting was auctioned at Sotherby's in London.

Kilbeggan Evening Meeting Co. Westmeath

The Midland of Ireland's only national hunt race course. Very close to the Artist's home in Westmeath, This is one of five featured paintings at the race track.

Punchestown Co. Kildare

One of the primary national hunt race tracks in Ireland. The Punchestown Festival is held every year in April and features the very best of Irish and British National hunt horses. The painting includes no. 6 'War of Atrition' who went on to win the Cheltenham Gold Cup.

The Aintree Grand National

The most famous jumping race of all the Grand National at Aintree, Liverpool. The winner was no.6 'Valverdi' in the green and black at the Canal Turn.

Royal Ascot at York

This Painting has historical importance as it was painted in 2006 to celebrate the only time the race would be held at york while the Ascot track was undergoing refurbishment.
